Privacy Policy

Vent My Life ("the App", "we") is a Pi Network application operated by an independent developer. Contact: jaytayeldev@gmail.com.

When you sign in through Pi Network, we receive your Pi username and a Pi user identifier (uid). We do not receive your name, email address, phone number, or wallet secret, and we do not request access to your wallet address.

While you use the App we store: your credit balance, purchase and payout records (amount, Pi payment identifier, blockchain transaction id), rewarded-ad records, and short-lived technical keys used to prevent duplicate requests. The text you type when venting and the retort you select are processed to create your image or video, and a record of each generation (your text, the chosen style, and a link to the result) is kept server-side so that reported content can be reviewed. Generated content is private to you and is never shown to other users or linked to a public profile.

We use no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies. The App stores two small flags in your browser's local storage: whether you have seen the introduction, and your sound on/off preference.

To generate media, your vent text and selected retort are sent to AI services: Anthropic (Claude) for matching and scene translation, and our generation service running on Google Cloud (Vertex AI) for images and video. Generated media is stored in Google Cloud Storage and served through links that expire automatically. Account data is stored in MongoDB Atlas. Payments are processed by the Pi Network; we receive only payment metadata (amount, status, transaction id), never card or bank details. Pack prices shown in Pi may be derived from a public market price feed; no personal data is sent to obtain it. Hosting and request logs are handled by Vercel and Google Cloud.

We process your data to provide the service you request (contract), to prevent fraud and abuse such as duplicate payouts (legitimate interest), and to meet record-keeping obligations for payments (legal obligation).

Media links expire automatically. Payment, payout, and reward records are kept as long as needed for fraud prevention and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by email; records we are required to keep (e.g. completed payment records) may be retained in minimal form.

Depending on your location (including under the EU GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Write to jaytayeldev@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

The App is not directed at children. You must meet the minimum age required to use Pi Network in your country and be at least 13 years old.

We may update this policy as the App evolves (for example, if rewarded ads via the Pi Ad Network are enabled). The effective date above will change and material updates will be announced in the App.
